Eric Clapton Shreds???
A friend of mine turned me on to this and I have watched it more times than I care to admit. The audio/video editing is nothing short of genius and Steve Gadd’s casiotone drum sound cracks me up only slightly less than when the sax chimes in. I don’t know who StSanders is but they’re brilliant.

Count me out of this one, and I am a fan of some avant guard stuff. That was hard to take! Maybe that’s the point.
Yuck - I think we’ve done better than that with Sweeps, Ed, Kevin and you.

Wow I’m shocked Mike.
You do know that this is a joke right? That’s not Clapton playing and that’s why it’s hilarious; the editing is spot-on.

Am I that out of touch? I completely missed the fact that this was an overdub. Testament to the editing, and my rather dull sense of observation.
Knowing this makes this video a blast to watch.
I have to say that I have heard some stuff like this on college radio and (as far as I know) it was a serious attempt at avant guard. … i should probably just stop here.
